Realizing that his boring life of luxury is holding him back from knowing what the world is really like, Michael sets out on a journey of self-discovery without any true understanding of what awaits him on the surface.
At first, his arrogance is enough for those first few steps, but that false strength quickly leaves him when confronted with the harsh new realities of life.
