Her father is killed on a trip to Las Vegas. Jenny, determined to marry Steve, gets pregnant. Steve has other ideas and leaves to live with another girl. When Steve loses his job, he returns to Jenny. She pretends to commit suicide when he again refuses to marry her, is taken to hospital and has a miscarriage.
