Mobile application development has been a promising field in software engineering for more than a decade. The field is growing rapidly due to the ever-increasing popularity and penetration of smartphones. As a result of the benefits it offers, software engineering is generally trending towards agility based approaches and distributed development setups (Waqar, et al., 2017).
