It is located in Tinsukia district of the North-Eastern state of Assam. It stands on a grassy plain, nearly surrounded by forested Himalayan mountains, on the right bank of Brahmaputra river. Sadiya is famous for a flower named Sotful (Meaning: Blessing) which is much like Jasmine. NRLM has a pragmatic long-term dedicated sensitive support system woven around the poor that extends facilitation support in their efforts to get out of poverty so as to achieve exponential access to their rights, entitlements and public services, diversified risk and better social indicators of empowerment.
