This volume provides abstracted mortality schedules from microfilm of the actual 1885 Florida State Census pages. Thirty-five of Florida's thirty-nine counties are covered here; Alachua, Clay, Columbia, and Nassau Counties are missing. Entries include: name, age, sex, race, birthplace of individual and both parents, month of death, cause of death (when known), and name of physician (when known).
