The research activities, described in this book, have been mainly focused on images analysis and quality enhancement. Specifically the research regards the study and development of algorithms for color interpolation, contrast enhancement and red-eye removal, which have been exclusively oriented to mobile devices. Furthermore an images analysis for forgeries identification and image enhancement, usually directed by investigators (Forensic Image Processing) has been conducted.
