O knihe
This work has speculated on the whole issues of morality basing on Aristotle, then its implication in African life style especially in Tanzania as the foundation of my study case. Morality is generally understood as set of principles applied to either individual or group members of the society. To be moral aims at cultivating success or good life. Different from ethics which is code of behavior in a particular geographical unit. Morality pursue the end and means to reach it. Morality can be subjective, conventional or relative. A virtue means good habit or quality that a person has, a moral one. For example Honest, loyalty and many of the like. Aristotle divided virtues into two groups; intellectual and virtue of character or moral. The two works synonymously; character virtue depends onto intellectual in all its decisions. So where the two meet leads to human happiness. Where character virtue work independently, then leads to vice. Moral development for Nyerere is rooted from hardworking, communion and self-reliance. According to Nyerere, man develop morally as achieves education which makes him/her conscious. Evils in the world and especially in Tanzania is a result of ignorance.
