Many authors from antiquity and modern world try to romanticize their relationship, specifically the relationships which Cleopatra had with Julius Caesar and Mark Anthony. In contrary, supported by evidence, the research focuses on the political factor which caused to begin, to retain, and to end their relationships. The research examines the romantic depiction of their relationships in the primary sources and analyses the political aspect of their interactions, in hope that it also will heighten their political characters.
