O knihe
This research examined the doctrine on adverse possession in Uganda, the research was guided by three objectives that looked at the non-legal aspects, legal aspects and the implementation and challenges affecting adverse possession in Uganda. The research was doctrinal in nature, hence focused mainly on secondary sources of data. Among the legal aspects, the research focused on the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda 1995, the penal code act, land act, land policy and regulations including the Registration of Titles Act (RTA). The non-legal aspects included the policy framework and institutional implementation of the doctrine of adverse possession in Uganda. Conclusions and recommendations were also made in relation to the study findings, as indicated in chapter five.
