He has held top management positions both in public and private sector institutions in Sri Lanka including multinational corporations and government institutions. Wanya Jerleen Gunawardena is a Bachelor Business Administration from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), specializing in Marketing Management and was awarded the faculty Gold Medal for the best performing student in the field of Marketing in 2017.
