As per prevailing situation in Tamilnadu, parents and teachers were not comfortable in discussing some topics that involved in sex education because their traning did not include the subject. Again it was found that girls were not free enough to discuss about sex education. There is a need for professional psychologists to carry out health promotion programs to empower teachers, parents, learner and community at large. The present investigation clearly portrayed higher secondary students possess highly favourable attitude towards the introduction of sex education have higher mean score for social factor and the least mean score for general factor. school students adolescent emotional adjustment and social adjustment are high level. The present piece of research work clearly denotes that there is a significant relationship between the dependent variable namely attitude towards introduction of sex education and the with background variables. Further the differential and correlational analysis revealed that there is highly favorable attitude towards the introduction of sex education.
