We have had numerous societies and conventions meet with us this summer. Some have sought to develop a stronger physical manhood and womanhood, others have met to devise fresh advances in educational methods, others have discussed the possibilities of future development along technical lines, while still others have met in the cause of sweet charity. The Society of American Florists differs from all these in that it seeks to promote and enhance those beauties of nature which appeal through the eye to the aesthetic sense.
