O knihe
The books of Ezra and Nehemiah are dedicated to the history of Jews who returned from Babylonian captivity. They describe events spanning almost a century. Previously, these books represented a single whole (it is possible that they were part of the Paralypomenon books), in modern publications they are divided into two books. Ezra and Nehemiah are not the authors of these books (their authors are not known at all), but the main actors. The events described in the Book of Esther unfolded during the Renaissance. It describes how the Jews living in Persia managed to save themselves with the help of the Jewess of Esther. The more militant Jewish version contained a narrative about how Jews fought for their rights in Persia with weapons in their hands. The book of Job belongs to the category of teachers (or books of wisdom). As a monument to the Hebrew literature, the book of Job is a kind of religious and philosophical treatise, written in the form of an artwork. The main idea of the book is the thesis about the need to obey the fate sent by God to man. Although everything in the world, from the point of view of religion, is done by the will of God. Under the guise of a non-existent character - god - Job's loyalty is tested by a cunning hypnotist priest.
