Jamie Whitfield (Cherokee/Onondaga) grew up and lives in Tulsa Oklahoma, in the Cherokee Nation. A descendent of the Tiger, Rogers, Smith, and Adair families, she has served her people as a foster mother for Cherokee children for a decade and is proud of her Native American heritage.
Hodalee Sewell (Muscogee Creek/Cheraw) has been a researcher and writer on identity and Native American history for twenty years and lives and works in the Cherokee Nation.
