Both the experimental diets i.e. probiotic enriched soya mix and soya and fingermillet mix were were able to exert sufficient glucose lowering effects as revealed from the reduction in the postprandial glycemic, fasting glucose and glycaated hemoglobin in type 2 diabetic subjects. Thus it can be inferred that the developed product could produce a synbiotic impact for promotion of health in health in Diabetes.
