Dystocia has been reported to be themost common cause of perinatal calf loss. Pelvic measurement is best method to deal calving problem due to abnormally small or mis-shaped pelvices to reduce dystocia. Male contributes significantly for fertility of the herd. Biometry of the reproductive system is important determining factor to improve the reproductive performances. Pelvimetric parameters were increased as per the age of the animal and these parameters were significantly differed between the age groups and this pelvimetry is to be used as a tool to select the breeding female. The biometry of genital organs of female animals may help to diagnose and treat the various reproductive problems at the early stage to improve the reproductive performance and reduce the infertility problem. Biometry of male reproductive system revealed that this biometrics has significant positive correlation with body weight than age of the male animals. Thus the biometry is the useful indicators to determine the testicular development to select the bull for breeding purpose. Therefore the book explains biometry of male and female reproductive system of bovine and bubaline species.
