Even though the knowledge society has been established several decades ago, it's still clear that there's often a gap among the requirements of the knowledge society and the key competencies of its participants. The incomplete competitiveness of Europe and digital divide is determined by poor collaboration of public and private sector, slow integration of information and communication technologies infrastructure into knowledge economy and the lack of competent specialists' of knowledge organization.
