Proposals and suggestions are developed for few small scale units keeping in mind the constraints that are usually responsible for loss.This project approaches the measurement of energy efficiency from a lean production theoretic framework and uses Observation envelopment analysis to measure lean production in a manufacturing facility. The energy efficiency measures in manufacturing across MSME industries in Uttarakhand state of India requires precarious awareness and upliftment.
