Post Fukushima, there are rich opportunities in Japan for renewable energy and energy efficiency, yet without proper ethics humanity will stumble again. So, I begin with Christ Centered Stewardship for the Environment. Then I show the great opportunities in particular in Japan regarding full renewable energy supply. To begin sweeping in front of my own door, I present a feasibility study for wood gas cogeneration at my university in the suburbs of Tokyo. As for sustainable energy efficient architecture, Kaufmann Bausysteme GmbH (KBS) equipped a Social Center in Austria with cross laminated timber (CLT) modules. Not only the physical fabric, the Social Center also excels with its consequent application of biographic care for the elderly, extra resilient in times of the corona virus. I report on KBS as a world leader in sustainable architecture with a new module factory in Berlin, particularly for school buildings. Through the lens of Christ Centered Stewardship for the Environment, I want to show a series of most interesting real world examples of sustainable projects.
