O knihe

"Among the differential diagnoses of dermatological disorders seen in clinical practice in developing Countries is malnutrition. Malnutrition has been a challenge for many societies of the world. Whereas malnutrition has been known to be problematic to people with severe or chronic diseases (Kristina et al., 2008), malnutrition has been cited as one of the consequences of the worldwide lock-down that many Countries have so far experienced as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic (Andrade, 2020; Mathias Dzobo et al., 2020), especially on children (Lore van Bruaene et al., 2020). This situation might be aggravated by food shortages that might affect people in places with low socioeconomic infrastructure or people living in places destabilized by war or other forms of social conflicts. In such places, malnutrition may inevitably be encountered by professionals in clinical practice. Many such patients also receive a wide range of medications for various dermatological ailments. Unfortunately, some of the medications the patients receive may cause adverse reactions that vary from mild to severe. Some may even prove fatal.
