O knihe
Pain is widely accepted as one of the most important determinants of quality of life because of its widespread adverse health effects, including diminishing mental health and wellbeing, and impairing the individual's ability to perform daily activities. Neck pain is such an issue with the adult population that the Global Burden of Disease Study 2010 ranked it fourth in causing years of life lived with disability, and second most prevalent musculoskeletal condition. A number of different treatments have been administered to patients and have been recorded in modern literature to prove effective in the management of chronic neck pain. The aim of this research was to carry out a comparative study that will investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Diclofenac sodium Phonophoresis (DSP) and intrasound therapy (IST) and determine which was more efficacious in the management of chronic neck pain (CNP).
