O knihe
This book addresses the conceptual analysis of Constitutional Supremacy and Parliamentary Sovereignty in Bangladesh and UK. Here, the author, has discussed the concepts of Constitutional Supremacy and Parliamentary Sovereignty, their characteristics and the possible ways to maintain the Constitutional Supremacy and the Parliamentary Sovereignty. The book further discusses how the concept of Constitutional Supremacy has been ensured in the Constitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the status of the Constitution during the continuance of Martial Law and the relation between Constitutional Supremacy and Judicial Review. An attempt has also been made to focus how far the Parliament of the UK is sovereign by analyzing the tensions among the domestic law passed by the Parliament of the UK and the European Convention on Human Rights Law and the European Community Law.
