All 150 Psalms, in order, are "converted" into prayers from the writer. With each prayer is a comment to relate the actual Psalm to the reader for his or her own use.
Following the above "prayers" is a set of devotions for the Psalms. These are intended to summarize one or more key points for direct application to the reader.
The intent of these sections is, when used with the reader's own Bible, to enable the reader to, in fact, PRAY with the Psalmist The book, therefore, becomes a tool for worship as well as a manual for service to our God.
