I trust that in our agricultural parishes this may be for good, as regards the physical condition of the people; and if so, it ought also to be advantageous as respects their moral and religious character. There is now an increasing sense of the intimate union which exists between these subjects; and I hope that the recognition of this will tend greatly to stimulate the advance of improvement in both.
