To mitigate this situation, man has promoted and enhanced the domestication and breeding of species threatened with extinction. The aulacode being a game animal, its meat is very appreciated by all, whatever their ethnic origin or religion, and is the object of an intensive hunting leading almost to its extinction. That said, aulacodiculture has become a fairly well mastered field in sub-Saharan, central and western Africa. However, it remains timid in Kwilu province. I tried it in Kikwit Sacré-Coeur and I succeeded.
