O knihe
Cervical radiculopathy is a problem that is frequently encountered by physical therapists. It is defined as dysfunction of a cervical nerve root resulting in symptoms of pain in the neck and upper extremity as well as neurological signs such as dermatomal parasethesia and myotomal weakness. Neural mobilization is used for treatment of musculoskeletal disorders with neural involvement such as spinal and peripheral disorders. It lengthens the neural tissue via a specific gentle stretch applied by the therapist to the target nerve, this can be achieved via moving the interfacing and related tissues such as joints, muscles, fascia and skin.
