The quality of irrigation water plays a vital role in crop production. Generally, irrigation water from all sources contains dissolved salts in very low concentration. The use of sodic water for irrigation adversely affects productivity of soil by influencing the uptake of nutrients and many soil properties (Chouhan et al., 1988). This problem becomes more aggravated when the carbonate and bicarbonate of sodic water occur in association with sodium creating the problem of residual sodium carbonate (RSC). Micronutrients have been come to occupy an important position in Indian Agriculture. In many part of country, zinc as a plant nutrient now stand third in importance next to nitrogen and phosphorus. Zinc play an out standing role in synthesis of chlorophyll and protein and also regulates inter absorption. Moreover, it is also concerned with carbohydrate, metabolism and activation of various enzymes. Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum L.) popularly known by its vernacular name "Methi" is an important condiment crop grown in northern India during rabi season. It occupied prime place amongst the seed spices grown in northern India particularly in Rajasthan.
