The study includes two primary chapters. The definition and classification of electronic contracts are presented in the second chapter, along with an exploration of the various types. This study examines the enforceable nature of electronic contracts and emphasizes the necessary legal obligations. This study examines the comparative aspects of electronic contracts concerning traditional contracts, focusing on critical elements such as acceptance and offer, consideration, contractual capacity, and the implications of error, fraud, and undue influence. This chapter also addresses the implementation of electronic contracts, the consequences of breaching such agreements, potential remedies, and the jurisdictional and dispute resolution mechanisms specific to e-contracts. Chapter three of the thesis provides an essential foundation for understanding the application of Pakistani contract law to electronic contracts. This study examines Pakistan's existing electronic contract legislation and case law while considering global principles. This study examines the pragmatic challenges related to electronic contracts in Pakistan, encompassing their prevalence in the e-commerce, banking, and telecommunications sectors. The dissertation also examines data privacy and security issues and their cybersecurity implications, specifically in the context of electronic contracts. The third chapter analyzes the prospective developments in electronic contracts in Pakistan. The text examines the pragmatic obstacles that must be confronted, sector-specific factors to be considered, concerns regarding data protection and privacy, and cybersecurity's importance in guaranteeing electronic contracts' efficacy. This thesis contributes to the existing body of knowledge about electronic contracts within the legal framework of Pakistan. This statement elucidates the aspects of invention, efficacy, enforcement, and legislation about a particular subject while delineating its challenges and opportunities. The study provides valuable insights for individuals in positions of authority, legal professionals, and individuals engaged in electronic transactions in Pakistan
