Present work is the outcome of our efforts to cover an important aspect of HR function, viz., Suggestion Scheme (SS), which has implication for the entire organisation. The work introduces us to SS as a concept, historical perspective of suggestion schemes from middle age through the modern times, needs & aims of it & ways to make it a success. Today suggestion schemes are instrumental in most of the successful organisations worldwide where mostly they have proven to be immensely successful. One such example of Indian Oil Corp.
