O knihe

HIV/AIDS epidemic has been a major public health concern for almost four decades. Despite the commitment and support by donor agencies like PEPFAR and Global Fund to scale up HIV interventions, there still exist a huge gap which must be addressed to be able to achieve the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals. As an infectious epidemic, identifying and managing every case is important if we must achieve control. To suppers the gain that is already made will require an approach which can at a minimum sustain the success made so far or, that will have an additional value. In all settings affected by the epidemic, Most-at-Risk Populations have been the drivers of the epidemic. Most-at-Risk Populations include Men Who Sex with Men, Sex Workers, People Who Inject Drugs, Transgender and people in close settings. Because of high level of stigma, discrimination, and prohibiting laws against their practices, they have a huge challenge in accessing HIV/AIDS services. This book described an intervention among Most-at-Risk Population that yielded a very positive result. It is therefore recommended for programmers, service providers, decision makers and, Most-at-Risk Populations to know what best work for them
