O knihe
Energy is an essential resource for carrying out the most diverse daily activities in a home, especially when located in small and large urban centres. This work contributes to an understanding of how domestic energy consumption patterns are explained, particularly in households living in the 14th BairroNhaconjo, in Beira City, central Mozambique. Data were collected using, first, a bibliographic and documentary survey and then direct surveys and measurements were used as a data collection tool. Electricity, with an average consumption of 37 kWh/month per family, charcoal, 38.3 kg/month, LPG, 11.1 kg/month, wood, 44.7 kg/month, sawdust, 7.9 kg/month, kerosene, 0.75L/month; candle, 17 Un/month and finally the battery with 19 Un/month, as well as different consumer profiles are analysed. The research covered overestimated socio-economic information and use, obtaining, quantity, fuel costs, among others. It is concluded that the domestic energy consumption patterns were very differentiated.
