Even if environmental education still receives more attention today compared to the last decades, there is still much to be understood. It is still treated in a disconnected way as if the environmental issues were only correlated to natural environments, disconnected from urban centers. Thus, this compilation deals with the importance of environmental education incorporated into the routine and capable of transforming its environment, beginning in childhood, favored by the phases of cognitive, affective and natural development.
