O knihe

Human beings have had to coexist with nature in search of better living conditions. He formed towns that became urban concentrations that demanded resources. Countries were formed, and a world order was established. To satisfy its needs, it created energy sources to obtain services. And when it seemed that it had solved the problem using technology, it realized that it was facing self-destruction due to the deterioration of the environment. This motivated the realization of the research project "Environmental pollution in airports", carried out at the National Polytechnic Institute, from which this book derives. It investigates combustion and noise pollution. The amount of pollutants that are emitted into the atmosphere and the increase of sound waves producing noise; in both cases deteriorating the environment and as a consequence the health of people. The actions on climate change adopted by international organizations such as the UN and the International Civil Aviation Organization to mitigate the harmful effects of combustion and noise at airports were investigated.
