Born into a loving family with high expectations at a time when the outside world imposed severe limitations, Dr. William H. Harris recorded many of his life experiences in poetry. From age five, he wrote 'in the moment' ----writing on notebook paper, cardboard, a napkin or whatever was available. He kept these poems to himself for decades. At the age of ninety-five, he decided to publish them.
Having earned advanced degrees in Economics and History from highly rated universities, Dr. Harris is an example of perseverance, discipline, and hard work. Blessed with a high intellect, a supportive inner circle and an exceptional mother, he forged his way through life, creating his own successes. Through it all, he retained the sensitivity of a 5 year old who paused to write, 'Why'?
