Today, football is played at professional level all over the world. In any sport competition an individual player or a team would participate in targeting better performance for achieving success. The likely success of a team is the result of a better preparation and hard effort. It mainly depends on the behavior of members or players of that particular team to perform cooperatively. Players intuitively know that they will not win a competitive team sport without having a team. Therefore, team cohesion is more likely to determine success than anything else. Team cohesion is the most critical issue that determines clubs success throughout the world. This research focuses on identifying the factors that affect team cohesion and success of players in South Gondar Zone, to find out possible solutions, and to provide recommendations for coaches, players, & club managers.
