The female gender undergoes a transformation that is akin to a revolution against oppression from the elements of patriarchy and androcentricism. The book focuses on the works of fiction written by Bole Asenath Odaga-a Kenyan female writer who champions women as mobilizers, agents of change and also radicals who have adopted feminism as the vehicle of liberation.
