In a not very distant future, there is an outbreak of an artificially created bacterium that spreads pandemically and turns people into mindless zombies, the so-called unconscious, whose existence consists only of eating. Jenis Choppin, a world-renowned singer worth millions, one day finds a young woman on her private beach on the Coté de Azur, who doesn't know who she is or where she comes from.
