O knihe

Using arguments that are illogical, highly manipulative and calling for conformity or trickery, France uses restrictive and bad-faith arguments to justify its presence in Africa. However, following the progress of democracy and the media, African youth are using counter-argumentation to deconstruct received ideas on the continent and aspire to freedom. This book identifies all the discourses that irritate African opinion and create cognitive conflict. It provides information on the linguistic, social and mental representations of African youth who are not worried about the French presence in Africa. It shows that the "We [of Africa]" perceive France (Non-Nous) as a persistent threat to its development, which is manifested by the rise of anti-French sentiment. The author proposes to adopt the discourse of reconciliation. He indicates that the nature of the relationship between Africa and France must evolve towards a freer, more competitive and transparent relationship in order to avoid the violent expression of the fed up feeling that permeates the continent and which sees the youths increasingly chanted: "France is out of here! ».
