The book you are holding in your hand is an attempt to look deep into the Indian reality from the perspective of a young student from Poznan. I invite you on a journey to my little student's world of science. We will pack our associations and ideas. We will travel through issues such as: social policy, NGO activities and development aid. Eventually, we will return richer with some new knowledge, I hope, with a slight sense of inadequacy. India can arouse really extreme feelings, but I know from my own experience that whoever has tasted it once will want to come back to it again and again.
