Lacey Marie is doodling through another church service when she is stopped by the words of a visiting evangelist who tells the congregation about Jesus teaching that compares people to trees. Although Lacey usually feels free after leaving a service, she departs feeling as if she has an obligation. As the nagging thought of being likened to a tree leaves her with a deep desire to learn more about them, Lacey embarks on an adventure of spiritual growth as she decides to plant a seed and grow her own tree.
