O knihe
Advances in low-power circuit design, simple yet reasonably efficient wireless communication equipment, reduced manufacturing costs and relative ease of deployment has made wireless communication technology ubiquitous. Ranging and location awareness is desirable features in a wireless network, with applications in asset tracking, locating people in emergency situations, robotics. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are made of two components, one is a number of small devices called sensors, which have a limited memory, battery life, processing power and another component is called a sink. Sensors are generally used to sense environmental attributes and convert it into signal or data and sink is used as an intermediate data collection center from the sensors to the rest of the Internet. An algorithm is proposed to visit a cluster head and isolate sensor when these invokes MDC. Most work in this field uses minimum spanning tree algorithm which needs many calculation to visit each node which takes long time and takes a lot of sensors battery life. These types of algorithms have interested the research community for a long time since they can be used in many applications.
