The book is on Fusion of OCP, copper hoard tradition and Harappans, which appears around 5000-3000 BC at Bhirrana, Jodhpur and Ganeshwar in Rajasthan and continued till 2000 BC inPunjab, Haryana Rajasthan western U.P. Delhi, along with copper hoard and Harappans. After 3000 to 1100BC O.C.P. this pottery continued in Ganga Yamuna doab or upper Ganga plain at Parihar, Bithur,Kaushambi, Sringverpur, Hetapatis, Dropatighat, Jhusi in diluted form along with copper Hoard weapons.O.C.P. disappeared in middle Ganga plain and identical potteries appear in mid Ganga plain like BlackSlipped Pottery and its s 50% pottery shape are like Dull red ware or O.C.P. and mature harappan of westernU.P. have common shape. It appears O.C.P. was local pottery during pre and mature Harappan phase and itcontinued even after the Harappan till 1100 B.C. at Sringverpur in upper Ganga plain and later on it dilutedand its tradition transformed into the other potteries in middle Ganga plain. Its legacy continued in otherceramics like backed slipped ware of mid Ganga plain. Harappan forms are present in O.C.P.
