To care for a person and work at the same time is a high burden and may lead to conflicts either at home or at work. German companies could combine the problem of labour shortage with the rising number of geriatric care cases and offer support in such situation to their employees. This would mean an integration of geriatric care within the Total Reward System of German companies.
