To the history of the worship of God under the old law, we have added in a second part, A History of the Worship of God since the days of Jesus Christ, or Rites and Ceremonies of the Catholic Church. The second part will begin with a life of our Saviour, where we will show how it is connected with our lites and ceremonies, and from the considera tion of his examples we shall pass to the subject of the great act of worship which he has instituted and commanded to be performed. We hope that after the reading of this work some at least will be convinced of the truth of the Wol'ds' Thee, the Holy Church throughout the world, does acknowledge.
