Shall not trouble this Honourable Audience with a Scrupulous Enquiry, what was the Occafion of Penning this ilm, or what, the certain [ntendment' of the Words be: fore us. Whatever was the Reafon of compm fing it; the Time of ufing it, in the publick Ser vice, was after David's coming to the Crown, in Remembrance of thofe many Struggles and Convulfions, that had happen'd in the State.
