O knihe
Metals and alloys play vital role in early human evolution. Knowledge of metals is a key for sustainable development of societies. Naturally metals prone to corrosion. The loss due to corrosion is a dragging factor for development of any country. For the past 100 years several attempts were made to explore the possibilities control the corrosion of metals at different corrosive environments. However due to use of heavy metal based inhibitors adverse effect on human health as well as deterioration of environment was observed. Inhibitors derived from plant sources are seen as viable alternative to these heavy metal based inhibitors. In this book, the authors tried to cover the recent trends in the development of plant based green inhibitors. In addition, the authors tried explore the application of non-toxic metal oxide based green inhibitors and bio-inspired inhibitors. This book will be a concise guide to the students studying corrosion engineering, materials engineering, chemistry, and plant sciences.
