Grey was a dog rescued in an orchard by author S. D. Hall. She and her family had no intention of keeping Grey and planned to find him a loving home. After a very short period of time, however, it became obvious that Grey was not going anywhere; he grew as attached to the family as they were to him. This tale remembers his fun-loving attitude, his willingness to go and do just about anything his family asked of him, and the love he shared with those in his life.
