The paper is divided into two parts: the first part examines the Saudi Arabia-Iran bilateral relations to portray the rivalry over Gulf Hegemony in a Fluid and Transitional Global System. The second part discusses Iraqi politics, as the Land of Proxy Conflicts and Changing Alliances.The first part of the paper aims to gain insight into the future scenarios and outcomes of the zero-sum game between the Karamazov Brothers, Saudi Arabia and Iran; in addition, it sheds light on the sectarian, political and economic facades of antagonistic bilateral relations. It portrays the intersecting relations among the global and regional political actors. In further analysis, it explores the volatile nature of the alliances and hostilities in the Middle East.
