O knihe

Of the two dramas, Christopher Marlowe's "The Jew of Malta" and William Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice", the main characters are Barabas and Shylock .However, the way the characters are presented has made the two stories have deep active, and certain general implication and notions. Following the drama, it is apparent that the two writers strive to create an experimental and peculiar atmosphere around the Jews and their development as protagonists. Also response of the writers adopting a particular people of their society stance towards the two villain-protagonists. All the negative adjectives and the attitude- based descriptions of the Barab as and Shylock are all part of the writers' plan of making a play for the people of their society. The similar characters, setting, and plot all suggest that Shakespeare knew what would sell and produced something that would bring him money.Money is an important thing.
