The production of deciduous fruit is facing many problems under reclaimed soil conditions in semiarid zones that can be summarized as follows: (1) Insufficient chilling requirements. (2) Pruning in many orchards is not performed in the correct method. (3) Using susceptible rootstocks to different diseases. (4) It still needs to treatments that improve the yield and fruit quality. (5) There are many troubles that are facing the production of deciduous fruits under newly reclaimed soil conditions. Therefore, the present book aimed to investigate the factors are affecting the production of deciduous fruit trees to improve their productivity particularly under the newly reclaimed soil conditions. The factors can be summarized in the following: (1) Break dormancy treatments. (2) Pruning. (3) Using rootstocks. (4) Solving some problems of newly reclaimed soils. Furthermore, the book presents some experimental researches for improving the yield and fruit quality of deciduous trees under new reclaimed soil conditions.
